I think the 2015 music that survives in the culture for 350 years somehow will not be so impressive.

If I ignore the context of the rest of the song, it's actually great.
A McLaren driver last won in 2008, spambot. You have to keep your references current.
You're not a giant dork relative to people here who have 20 shows to watch in the next 2 months.
Both they AND Chelsea have been a joy because it's not an unexplainable slump or a series of unfortunate dropped points. They are just straight-up terrible, getting run past, passed by, and scorched by superior teams with less expensive talent.
The weirdest thing I was irrationally mad about this year was Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, and Amy Schumer vouching, in public, that John Cena was hilarious.
Have you heard from anyone unexpected?
I'm a little bid sad that, as another poster mentioned, the new crop of writers seems terrified of being perceived as conservative, religious, uncool, or tied down, but this is simple A.V. Club snark. It's cool, guys! Anglophone pop and rock music, as defined in the article, IS often lame when it tries to talk God, so…
He's 1 of the greatest actors of the 1800s! (Seriously, I had forgotten how old he was in his heyday until I went to his page. I don't often think of movie or radio stars who were born in 1899 or earlier.)
I absolutely adore Room On Fire, as new wave just fits them better than their New York rock thing, even if the songwriting is a little tighter on Is This It.
I wouldn't be surprised if Julian has wacky political beliefs http://juliancasablancas.co… , but, yup, that's my assumption.
I obviously agree with the rest, but that last paragraph made me think. I think any religion/culture/system of belief, if left, ought to make you hurt. Like @avclub-7f0d5ceefd00ad8303401bdcf213eb83:disqus said, the backlash has been surprisingly small in America. You basically have, "Mopey autobiographical comics are lame," "mopey autobiographical comics are good, but this one is shallow" (me, The Comics Journal), or "Good-bye, Chunky Rice or Habibi were better."…
I'm from Wisconsin Rapids, 50 miles south of Marathon, 10 years younger, and very religious, so I thought it would be like seeing an alternate history version of my life. Instead, it just reminded me of 1 of the few types of high school classmates I wouldn't have added on Facebook.
1. "Old-timey and/or famous figures acting in irreverent, modern ways," is, like, 50 percent of it, and I don't really get tired of those jokes.
2. She expertly tags jokes, either with a pose or facial reaction, a good quip, or internet-speak (like lettering in all capital letters, improper grammar, or snide asides).

Me, too.
The Herr Lipp segment still creeps me out.
Were the Rising Damp episodes Christmas specials?
I can't decide if Greg Davies is really funny or not. He has some talent, but everything he's in is as annoying as it is entertaining. Is he good on panel shows?
