I do enjoy the Howards in limited doses (Him And Her, I miss you!), so A Gert Lush Christmas will get my attention, as will the aforementioned Detectorists.

It's the best show ever; obviously, people know about it. *cries*
It was weird that Ambassadors wasn't even as close to as good, even though Freezing was, which made me appreciate it even more.
I agree, which is not saying much since I adore the entire thing. It did feel the most like what an American or lesser British sit-com would do with the Rev. premise without really digging into the darkness that it usually did.
Well, at least you'll have the stand-up DVD Mrs. Brown's Boys Live: How Now Mrs. Brown Cow! If that title hints at what's in story, golly!
People can rag on The Onion's formula all they want, but the tag to that article is perfect.
I adore that last sentence. Americans complain about the Democrat Party here doing that, and I roll my eyes. "No," I laugh. "Wait until your country makes a sit-com about how self-defeating your party is, then complain."
Yeah, I actually found that sad because it's happened to him for years. He is an old man, and pranking him for 1 of the few, nice wrestler things he does ("my brother is sick, if you retweet encouragement, you would make his day!") is needlessly cruel and petty, even this year.
People mistake being angry with being informed, and so it actually destroys you in multiple ways: you take in more bad than good and reap the emotional detriments, you get distracted from developing skills that would help you create good, and you get more and more ignorant about solutions or positive aspects of the…
It perfectly captures adult friendship, especially for the nerdy among us, the drama is realistically important while still grabbing your attention, the music and cinematography is among the best in television, there are 1 or 2 laugh-out-loud moments each episode, and, man, season 2 wrapped up in such a satisfying way…
I thought the Flash animation and basic-level photoshop and the comic timing behind it was really fun. It accomplished the goals that were set for it. It made me smile.
From her work ethic, political views, sense of humor, and "ways her worldview manifests in her comedy," she is oddly and, for me, hearteningly conservative/old school in her approach. Because of who she is and her orthodox left-wing views, though, she is largely bulletproof. I've considered her the best-possible-world…
I mean, if someone told me that this album had their favorite lyrics ever, I would buy it. It still amazes me that "There's no shade in the shadow of the cross," is not a reference but something he wrote himself. That is high art.
Ha, ha, ha. Sadly, the original, hugely viewed video was deleted out of embarrassment, but that attitude reminds me of the masterful I Am A Gamer. https://www.youtube.com/wat…
Anthony did a good job of reinforcing what a lot of Japanese games fail to do but Parasite Eve 1 does. They don't do the work of establishing the culture of the world that has been disrupted, and so your investment is lessened and you're playing the game for completion or for fun. I'm thinking of Tales Of games' tiny…
I don't want to reveal parts of the movie, but it's a legitimate question in the context of the film and the earlier conversation. I think it's less, "Is there a deity?" than, "Does the romance and love that exists in the movie just a result of geography/time/inadvertent death/jobs? Should love be treasured so much if…
What's an eternity of bliss compared to it, though, you know?
Even better, they released a synthpop rather than chiptune album that blew up and increased their popularity, they're doing good remixes, Knife City, 1 of them, is on the Flywrench soundtrack, and their next album will be even bigger. Also, they are all amazing on Twitter.
Dang, you stole Cold Reception In Shiver City and Route 217 (216, too).
