Games they developed or co-developed in that period deserved better than the PSP's lack of success. 1,000,000 Tons Of Debris/Patchwork Heroes with Acquire had the same style, as did the Echo- series and Patapon.

Totally appreciated! I always need new music sites, and metal ones tend to be kind in reviews, so they're useless.

That is exactly what I believe with the extension of it to their animation (rigid house style unchanged for 20 years, longer than any other large house; pandering combination of photorealism for adults and teh graffix and cartoon for kids and merchandise; Chuck Jones-like emphasis on lighting and acting over creative

I'm sorry to be mean to the music section, but the movie section isn't afraid to recommend hardcore or obscure movies as the best if that was what struck them the most. Meanwhile, nothing on the music list was a surprise or challenge.

On the other hand, you'd be missing a top 3 movie of its year. Choose wisely!

That's fair. Would you have made Charlie And The Chocolate Factory 1 of your 10 favorite movies of its year? Do you actually rewatch it, or do you look up The Candy Man every once in awhile? Do you make sure to watch Spider-Man 1 every Halloween, or do you just quote "Boooonesaw is reaaaaadyyyyyyy?"

All of that is amazing and makes me smile. Lucky you!

Serious question: are there children's films that you revisit often?

Agreed, I thought The Martian was pretty dull and lightweight, too.

That it's a crowd pleaser, as she wrote. There's nothing wrong with being that annoying person who posts science memes and Cracked lists daily on Facebook, but there's a certain type of person who loves being a dick on Reddit, who thinks Neil DeGrasse Tyson is our nation's conscience, and who's really technocratic

So, it's like a fledgling government in an unstable country that is trying to coalesce existing powers to have true authority? That actually makes a ton of sense! (even if the "resistance" tag sounds like it's convincing an audience that they're underdogs)

My prediction is that everyone really, really enjoys it now, but both because of time and presumably superior sequels, it will come to be seen as inessential.

It is the worst movie I've ever seen, which is not the same as worst ever, but still.

That's my real question. I get an empire doesn't die and disappear 5 minutes after Constantinoupolis falls, but are the defenders of the Republic really "the resistance" if they're the ruling government?

This is a very wise comment.

Konami was always my favorite of the 1985 to 1995 arcade greats, so I could never agree with such a statement. I'm merely sad, just like I'm sad about S.N.K., Hudson Soft, Square Enix, and so on.

They totally do, but I left them off because they're about managing so much more than just lives. The ones that fit the bill are perfect examples.

Well, yeah, because as was said, they've been phased out. My little brother's was Donkey Kong Country 2, mine was Soul Calibur II (3rd rounds count!), Super R-Type, and Super Mario Brothers 2, All-Stars Edition.

I feel like I'm debating Sierra versus LucasArts all over again.

It didn't used to be, and then every new wave of posters was a little bit worse, and every good poster (me included) stopped finding it rewarding.
