I was expecting mostly lazy jokes that hurt my feelings and these threads delivered, but this one made it worth it.

It's a very specific thing to be hit by, but "people in spacecraft/aircraft not knowing if they will make it with swelling music" always gets me, so my heart dropped out of my mouth at the ending. Farts, this show's come a long way.

Even shooting out of order, 40 episodes per year seems like a lot. I think this was more for Cudi than anyone else.

Jingle-Bells, kenning for nausea.

They have surprisingly decent taste in animation. They picked a couple of shorts that animation festivals did.

The reprints this year were ridiculous.

I tried on Twitter to get Oliver to read it, and I truly hope he does. It's my number 1 comic of the year for I think the 2nd year in a row. That said, I want to kick you in the shin for missing out on a Matsumoto meeting. It's not like it would be anything more than a signature and photograph, but he's a top 3

Yup! Masaaki Yuasa did Ping Pong, which is basically the best Japanese animator teaming with the best Japanese comic creator for something that is not the best (in my view), but better than 95 percent of anything else on which you'd spend time.

WHOA. That is like a dream.

*heart is warmed*

"Inspired by Ico."

Oh, geez, my old GameFAQs anger has been stirred. Super Mario World!!!???

Yup. It's not even Mario And Luigi R.P.G.-hard.

And maybe I wasn't quite clear as well because of the analogy. "It puts you in a weird world but then says killing "monsters" is horrible just like in the real world." There, you is the player, not the player character, like you put it.

Phil Klay went to my college and so I got to hear him speak at an alumni event. "Compelling' doesn't even describe it, and, yup, my special forces/military friends think it's 1 of the best books ever written.

I really wish certain art games like this could disable streaming or screen saving for this reason. How cool would it be to share secrets among friends, read written descriptions like legends back in the day, or have to earn the most virtuous run in Undertale?

See, I DON'T think it's odd to advance ethics in a game world, but I think if a game plays with a lot of other rules, it needs to do the work to establish the rest rather than borrowing.

(Sorry, all who have read this before.) I just played this game over Thanksgiving, reveled in it, and posted about it here, but it is basically a game called Moon: Remix R.P.G. Adventure, made by ex-Square employees most famous for Super Mario R.P.G. who wanted to make something even weirder. A man who now works for

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! They made a sequel, too, meaning that only the Vita games and spinoff title are off-limits.
