But I usually cry if I'm dancing, so in that sense it's no different.

Me, too! That Leen Krohn sounds amazing. I had a few by Linda Dorigo, Per Petterson in addition to nonfiction people wouldn't like by people I respect (Arthur Brooks, Kristen Soltis).

With regard to yours, this was the year I finally liked Action Bronson after trying really hard. I am now happy to actually have his music click instead of him being "that fat rapper who likes wrestling like I do."

Woo! LISTS. Here are my top 60, created throughout the year.
01. Sufjan Stevens: Carrie And Lowell: Beloved, My John https://www.youtube.com/wat… (some of the best lyrics ever)
02. Diplo/Jack Ü: Jack You/Jack Ü: Where Are You Now/Where Are Ü Now https://www.youtube.com/wat… (irresistible)
03. 813: Body Race: Damn,

I think this belongs on least essential, but, Mohd, could you explain this nonsense song and why it has almost 3,000,000 views? (It's an old Japanese man in a poofy Disney/Kyary Pamyu Pamyu dress mugging for the camera as a parody of Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, but why?)

Well, that's because it's objectively the funniest part of the sketch. FACT.

I actually totally disagree! Like the best stuff from The Lonely Island, the punchline is something gross or stupid for that gut-punch laugh, it's made memorable or worth more than the chorus (a fate that hurts most comedy songs) by the genre details (rose/feather-banging Rudolph and Wiig, the Christine Aguilera hand

I would like to think that I'm not 1 of those jerks that would yell a catchphrase at someone famous if I saw them, but I would for sure have to stop myself from screaming, "SKIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNS," at Glaser.

Like, I'm not going to be mad at Marah, but Michael Maltese and Carl Stalling (music) should just be part of your pop culture vocabulary, if only because they're useful descriptors when people copy them.

It's so obvious to me that I will even watch a show that came from an apperance on Jimmy Fallon's Tonight Show.

There are people who will call it an out-and-out classic, especially across the Atlantic Ocean. I think it's a nice little movie, and I wonder if more people are watching it since Trump's resurgence in the public eye.

Are you into pop classical like Hauschka, Haruka Nakamura, Benoit Pioulard, and the like? (I'm guessing yes, from VonHausswolff.)

I appreciate it and agree, but what's "good" production or instrumental writing sound like to you these days? Like, what's Run The Jewels doing that To Pimp A Butterfly didn't?

I'm glad someone else gets really into music, but what's the argument for No, No, No? I was hugely disappointed in it, but I'm listening to you.

Well, Marijus from Mario And Vidis is also known as 10 Walls and, uh, made a big mistake that could be construed as right-wing. As someone of Lithuanian descent, I was/am a big fan of their music, so that was horrifying.

I'll get pissed at them for not appreciating a nice little Breeze-Neville match or for not giving Harper the attention they give Wyatt, but I have no idea how you could rescue Del Rio right now (whom I absolutely adore…like, top 5 wrestlers in the world).

Still, "elf on the shelf" makes a great name for Daniel Bryan right now.
