*shrug* That kind of attitude would cause me to dismiss Kyary Pamyu Pamyu just because the guy from Capsule writes her songs, and I'm not wiling to do that. Yeah, she's just a vessel and I do respect her less, but she has a great ear for songs and a stellar, stellar eye for fashion (her original job, I believe).

I do follow them! Richard X replied to an e-mail 1 time, and so on. That said, he apparently did write the basis and verse for Where Are You Now, according to The New York Times. Granted, it's the instrumental that takes it into classic territory, but Bieber and Boyd did do heavy lifting.

No argument there!

*shrug* It's the most mundane observation possible. Just think of Justin Bieber as a dad from a terrible CBS sit-com.

It isn't unless you just listen to certain parts of the chorus. If you're going to be oversensitive, at least portray it as a "bitches be crazy" song (which it isn't, but it's closer to that).

That's crazy. Where Are You Now is 1 of a handful of worthwhile pop songs made in the last 10 years. Mark My Words and I'll Show You show where he could go with Cashmere Cat and Hudson Mohawke (where overproduced is a compliment).

Conway Twitty collaborations are the last thing you're missing, but those 3 things are enough for legend status, no doubt.

But I do think it's worth debating that wrinkle, because to some it would seem like it's lacking that divine element. To me, though, the villain is a Greek-style god, not omnipotent or omnibenevolent, but vindictive and omniscient.

Yep. I am glad Star Wars exists just for that scene.

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!

Naw, it's great.

And Cudi played straight man and enthusiastic ward so well throughout. That was some episode!

As much as I think all 3 of them are great, Ray is horrific enough for me to ignore it completely.

At least it wasn't literal shit.

It leaps off the page

Windu didn't build a relationship with Skywalker before making demands of him, ensuring Anakin's turn, and he didn't bring his "best Jedi" with him to dispatch of the most powerful person in the universe, Palpatine, leading to their deaths.

That's fair, but then that also is simply a different approach to storytelling. I am a themes man. Some people are plot women. Others are character-first. I don't think any are wrong, although sometimes, in my lesser moments, I would characterize your criticisms as, "What is Samwise's favorite sandwich? What is

Man, I hope classic adventure literature keeps getting read so those jokes in the book version keep working.

Ryan points out Elwes and Patinkin for balancing absurdity with stakes, but Andre The Giant and wrestling, generally, aim for this constantly. He was a great choice.

And sorry for the repost from our thread below, but this DID make it into the movie as pretty good art. Considering it's the main thread of the trilogy, that's major.
