Bruhno Mares?
Bruhno Mares?
*sniffle* I miss Limmy.
Having so many bad games has caused historical revisionism that it was never good (which is true), but Sonic The Hedgehog was never great. I understand how to play, that you don't just run right, but the concept was always poorly executed and was less "break-neck platforming" (Konami did it better) and more "poor…
They haven't released a follow-up yet and are recording it as we speak. Let's not so hastily think that the monster is dead just because we buried it. They're not yet Foster The People.
GhaleonQ's Autumn Concerts Edition:
We're not a world rich with John Hannahs. We have to protect and value them while they're still working.
And, shoot, I'd listen to anything Zola Jesus ever made, but I'd definitely listen to her hip-hop album based on this. I've always wanted rapping to be more nightmarish, you know?
Yup. Her, Angela Trimbur, and their attractive and/or athletic friends dance for them. I recommend their Instagram account. For reasons.
They're really funny banterers, though!
Trust me, I can relate to the collector/super-fan impulse! It's worse for electronic music.
After 4 or 5 sessions with the album and b-sides, Down Side Of Me is my highlight and among my songs of the year.
No one would call them leaders or doing the hard work of discovering and researching, but that shouldn't be their role, anyway. They are excellent curators, especially for people with limited time.
I was really confused by their choices for singles. Who doesn't want to sing karaoke to By The Throat? The weird accordion synth, the chimes, the backing vocals (Every Open Eye really needed more vocal harmonies or trailing backing singing) make it so, so good.
Indeed, wow. Gross. There must be a kind of mind-blowing logic to that, if it wasn't just politics (the stuntmen union trying to keep their jobs).
Ha, I mean more, "Do you want every EP to get the remixes/cool album art?" http://www.discogs.com/arti…
It's very specific, but British/Australian documentaries are cut from a certain reserved style that's just so fun to imitate.
Yeah, so if you don't care about the physical item, and just want all of their songs, you need:
1. The Bones Of What You Believe (Deluxe Rerelease Edition)
2. Run Away (Record Store Day Single)/or just Dead Air from the The Hunger Games: Mockingjay soundtrack
3. Every Open Eye (Target Edition)/(German Edition)
It's not my favorite thing, as I'd say maximalized hip-hop better captures my video game nerdiness (despite the existence of the Hotline Miami series), but, oh, yes!
Well, yeah, that's because you're a good, normal person.
While I've always believed "selling out" is changing for business, not doing what you're doing and capitalizing on it, I know what you mean about "personal ownership." (It's actually more painful for it to change. Having personal conversations with Annie Clark at shows changing to St. Vincent fleeing theaters right…
