I really wanted WCS to work because he’s a big who can run well. But lord, he never improved, would disappear for 15 minute intervals, and approached scoring in the paint with all the deftness of a rhinoceros in heat.

I suspect WCS is going to be about like the Cousins experiment: some good, some not so much; probably worth a try but don’t get your hopes up too high.
no, that was his first two year. Look at the turn around from that team with essentially the same players from the year before that
Agree—Joe should be most angry at the fact the Broncos started him.
This is another reason to be amazed LeBron went to 8 straight Finals.
Finally a sane analysis of the situation... I was beginning to think I was living in an alternate reality or something and I just wasnt seeing what everyone else was seeing ... it boggles my mind to think that “experts” like Charles Barkley had to see them in action to realize they weren’t going to make the…
Well, at least one guy didn’t.
This is cogent analysis and I expect it to get more stars than my initial comment. Here’s your first. :)
3-9 is more likely.
the fact of the matter is that the Warriors just don’t look right.
It’s almost as if they don’t have Klay Thompson, Andre Iguodala, Kevin Durant, Shaun Livingston, Quinn Cook, Kevon Looney, or basically 80% of last year’s roster.
Curry and Green are fine, and Russell has his moments, but the rest of that roster is…
Two thoughts which effectively contradict each other:
Directly into my veins.
In those first two quarters, Kerr’s boys allowed the Thunder to shoot 56.5 percent, while they only converted at a rate of 27.5 percent.
If blowouts like these become the norm, it is only a matter of time until Draymond Green goes the way of Ron Artest/Andrew Bynum/Vernon Maxwell.
That last play where he tried to scramble out of the pocket and got blown up from behind for a fumble... Everyone saw that coming, right?
As a Ravens fan maybe they ran the ball because Flacco would just throw the ball to his last check down player and not get the 5 yards. There’s a reason the Ravens let him go. He just hasn’t been good the last couple of years.
So while I completely agree on the questionable playcalling, I also feel Joe Flacco has very little room to be complaining as the amount of plays he messed up was a direct reason for that. The Denver D was what was keeping the game as it was, so it made sense for the Broncos to hope that the D manages to make the last…
Maybe they would have been more aggressive with a better QB.
Joe, you ever stop to think it’s because they have little confidence in you?
