Failure in the red zone is an improvement over not getting into the red zone, I guess.

Remember when people thought Nagy was a genius? And Trubisky was on his way to bring a good QB?
Whenever I see plays like this, I hope this is one step closer for the Bucs giving up on this season and finally agreeing to trade OJ Howard to the Patriots.
It wasn't just that drive. 3 drives had a first and goal. 3 field goals were the result. They really should have been up 21-7 at the half.
I’m disappointed that they didn’t do this as a video clip wher there is some kickass guitar riff starting while Schaub walks towards the field to unleash hell against... Seattle? Okay, maybe mild discomfort against them.
This is like Remembering A Guy in real time
For this game in particular, his best attribute was the confidence he had to get right in the face of Patrick Beverley, in a way that didn’t end up harming his team (i.e. getting ejected). Though this battle did put Booker in foul trouble, he eventually had the last laugh when he forced the feisty Los Angeles guard…
Yeah! The Suns, Blazers, and Jazz are really good! That’s why we lost to them by 29, 10, and 32, respectively!
Hence why Hinch called on Will Harris so early. That’s his panic button pitcher.
Martinez said as much in the postseason interview, that he wanted to “save them” for when the Nats had a lead. It’s incredibly stupid, and one of the things I love about AJ Hinch is his total rejection of this kind of old baseball truism. He won’t hesitate to bring a top reliever into a high leverage situation with…
Bregman was so far off the baseline when he started his trot that he may as well have kept going and run right along the Nats dugout. That would have been fun.
Just proves that a talented host who is not just promoting a movie, starring in a hot show or trending on social media can make a difference. You can always tell they had a good week of prep and rehearsal when Update runs short. I think they pad Update to fill time when their host can’t carry the number of sketches…
Odds say you’re right, but remember, the Nats were very close to being dropped out of the 2nd wild card spot in mid-September, not to mention how close they came to not having the play-in game in DC. Then the Dodgers looked like they had that series totally in hand, until they didn’t. Again, the odds say you’re right.…
why oh why did the Nats bring Rodney in instead of Sean Doolittle or Daniel Hudson?
And it’s over. The Astros have woken up, the Nats can’t buy a rally, and that’s that. Some doofus Houston sports columnist is already drafting his column on the heroics of the Astros overcoming the distraction at the beginning of the series.
I like Chance the Rapper. No matter where he is, he always seems happy to be there.
Bowen Yang is so so good. He’s so effortless in making his characters pop, it’s like he was born for sketch comedy.
Two slight sidenotes. First, it felt to me like they really leaned more on the ensemble in this episode. The core performers were there, but they didn’t hog the show like they’ve done often in the past. Second, while I loved the opening monologue show, I cannot accept even the subtle indication that Angel was…
For me, this episode was delightful as they just decided to completely weird and leaned hard in to that aspect. I also felt it really suited Chance as a host as his somewhat awkward style, and I mean that in the best way possible, really worked well with the sketches they chose.
I admire the hell out of these people. As for the various fuckheads I’ve seen online, who shamed them for publicly criticizing Weinstein, while whining about ‘upholding civility’ or whatever.... fuck ‘em. Learn to take a stand for what’s right, you spineless cowards.
