This is an old thread, but since I just bought a 2016 4-banger Colorado 2WD with stick, and because there is so much negativity here about it, I feel I should describe my universe in which such a choice is reasonable.

You can have the seats or not.

The 2nd gen Colorado has automatic hill start assist.
