That said... as my advisor puts it, "Academia is so flexible! You can work any 80 hours a week you want!"

bahahaha I totally do this too. I didn't realize it until just now though WHERE'D THAT DOG GO WE WERE HANGING OUT AND NOT TALKING IT WAS GREAT
i tend to latch on to a pet if there is one lol you'll find me playing with the dog at bbqs
You completely missed just murdering each and every one of them.
According to Trolldor I don't even exist. The next person I checked doesn't exist either.
Pretty interesting, but their tagline should have been: "Pay a little more so you don't have to throw elbows at strangers and wait in line forever at Walmart and Costco!"
Eat soup and wash my hands more often.
I've read in medical journals that Airborne, vitamin C tablets, acai drinks, and "antioxidants" in every food product under the sun don't do jack for colds.
Age =/= maturity.
He could not brag about it, though. He's a respected musician, we don't need to be told how he was cheating on her for a very long time before the news of their separation broke. It makes him look like a horrible person, both for cheating and for bragging.
Hey you try being committed to TWO people at once without one of them ever knowing! He could have easily added a third into the mix but he decided to be a decent man.
Yep, you hit the nail on the head as to why it was so upsetting. :(
This hurts, people. We believed the Gordon-Moore marriage, it was brilliant, it was all we ever wanted from love and relationships. Finding out that they were unhappy like anybody else - that he was cheating like anybody else - was very painful. Celebrity marriages haven't looked the same since they split up.
What is it about cheating partners and their willingness to admit the duration of their cheating once "the cat's out of the bag"? It's like they think the length of the extramarital/extrarelational affair counts as fidelity, or something.
As profs make clear to their students: NO DOUBLE-DIPPING! You don't get credit…
The price tag is doing it for me.
I was a server through much of college and a little beyond. Two ways you're wrong:
Beside the fact that minimum wage isn't enough to live on, servers don't get paid minimum wage. I can't believe so many people under-appreciate waitstaff.
why stop at only one fitted sheet ... use every sheet you own, removing one each week ... (or every two weeks, let's be honest) ... like those tear-away windshields on NASCAR ... and you could go on for months between washings
The purpose of the top sheet is to prevent your comforter/blankets from getting as dirty. Sleeping on top of it means your more-difficult-to-wash blankets need to be laundered. I'd rather wash the two thin sheets more often.
Why do you feel that this article is so bad? What do you find wrong with it? ;-)
