The 6000 SUX from robocop. An American tradition at 8.2 mpg.

The whole thing was about getting better economy than the competition, so find a smaller engine that delivers the required economies and that would work.

Boeing should be hung out to dry for this one. This entire mess was caused by a commission structure rewarding executives who convinced Boeing customers to not take any new training. There are emails clearly stating this.

I LOVE the idea of LS swapping out old mercedes engines. Because older Benzs tend to have solid, timeless bodies with leaky, anemic crappy engines. This one, though, is a bit low rent. Do it again with a nicer doner car and you’ll have my eternal admiration.

Meanwhile China develops a drone that drops machine gun equipped robo-dogs out of the sky.

What’s with all the Tesla hating? Car people are supposed to celebrate all and anything on wheels, not get all down on innovation.

Funny story. A friend of mine was showing off his wife’s new car to his friends. The car had auto braking which he decided to demonstrate by taking his hands off the wheel and closing his eyes as he pulled up into a convenience store parking spot

But doesn’t America only bring the blinding sunshine of sweet, sweet American freedom to the world?? I’d think the biggest danger would be suffocation by rose petals and love thrown by grateful and happy admirers.

A little bit over the top for what is essentially an American kids rite of passage. No license for life? Might as well just kill them.

Of all the Govt. responses to problems I’ve heard, this is the most well thought out. The cost: Minimal. The solution: Effective. The reasoning: Logical. The response: Appropriate.

It’s good to see they got rid of the two tiered garbage. That was just a corporate scumbag move to split workers in the factories and weaken them as a negotiating whole.

No. It was a cool car. Nothing wrong with it. It’s only flaw was it didn’t get dangly ball sack crew that green lit it laid.

Apparently she has a long history of car crashes. 13 that are known about, and a long history of borderline mental health issues. Traveling Nurses are often travelling to stay one step ahead of the trainwrecks they make of their lives. They are also paid extremely well, hence the new Mercedes that probably saved her

Stayed at a friends place in London. He said “be careful, there is a crazy old man who drives around the neighbourhood at insane speeds.” Sure enough, there he was, bouncing off the rev limiter in second gear, screaming down narrow London streets in his pyjamas. Turns out because of the narrow streets with cars parked

Being LA you are also required to say “nor have I played one on TV.”

I know. The corvette is like one pen stroke away from being really nice. But it is not. It’s like a Camry in drag.

I know eh !! A Morgan ?? They don’t even have leak proof tops or wind up windows ?? or even windows as we know them. They use extra rippley plastic with insta-fog™. The seats are narrow and savagely uncomfortable.

YES and NO. It was stupid, but good.

Not so much “roll” but more “fly through the air.

In the UK, charging stations are geared to cost pretty much the same as it would cost to fill up at a gas station. If you plan ahea and charge at home it is mega cheap, but if you need to charge on the fly, be prepared to get shafted. AMerica will be going that way soon.
