I LOVE the idea of LS swapping out old mercedes engines. Because older Benzs tend to have solid, timeless bodies with leaky, anemic crappy engines. This one, though, is a bit low rent. Do it again with a nicer doner car and you’ll have my eternal admiration.

What’s with all the Tesla hating? Car people are supposed to celebrate all and anything on wheels, not get all down on innovation. 

Funny story. A friend of mine was showing off his wife’s new car to his friends. The car had auto braking which he decided to demonstrate by taking his hands off the wheel and closing his eyes as he pulled up into a convenience store parking spot. 

But doesn’t America only bring the blinding sunshine of sweet, sweet American freedom to the world?? I’d think the biggest danger would be suffocation by rose petals and love thrown by grateful and happy admirers.

Of all the Govt. responses to problems I’ve heard, this is the most well thought out. The cost: Minimal. The solution: Effective. The reasoning: Logical. The response: Appropriate.

Stayed at a friends place in London. He said “be careful, there is a crazy old man who drives around the neighbourhood at insane speeds.” Sure enough, there he was, bouncing off the rev limiter in second gear, screaming down narrow London streets in his pyjamas. Turns out because of the narrow streets with cars parked…

On one hand it’s a bit like suing a comedian, but on the other hand he knew damn well he was lying and damn well it was profitable to him. If he was a decent human he would have toned down the rhetoric the moment he heard Parents were being harassed. But he did not. So sue his lying ass off, and maybe we’ll see him…
