Kinda funny that Ford is mocking them when they started in a similar way. Constant changes to make cars easier to assemble and a focus on vertical integration.  I don’t get all the negativity on Tesla or why anyone would cheer for the most American car company in existence to fail. All you are seeing is reinvestment. For a company to grow they need to spend. More factories, more workers, more engineers, etc. If you wait until one segment is profitable before you spend it, you end up slowing your growth down.

How can you wait for something to happen then say you’ll be the first to do it? It’s like a Trumpism. “If people start building electric supercars, then I’ll build an electric supercar and be the first to do it. It’s gonna be electric. Very electric, the most electric. Electric like you’ve never seen.
