Bullets and nukes are for the people that stuff doesn’t work on.

The Democratic party can’t be saved, it’s already completely entangled in financial sector money and they’ll never let go.

But how exactly is this bill going to do anything but give money to those in film ? They can increase diversity on their own but they’re asking for money in order to do it? “We can just hire more minorities and women but give us 5 million dollars so we can get it done” how does that make sense

I’m not sure why the AV club wants to take on so many political stances full stop; it was once a site that focused purely on pop culture - I’m not sure if it really knows what it wants to be anymore .. if I want to educate myself on gender inequality, scandals or political unrest I go *elsewhere*.

Because the AV Club and Cracked have gone full SJW retard. Have you really not noticed?

So long as Wall St can keep buying Democrats AND Republicans, Democrats are getting paid just to run.

Good question. I don’t associate as a dem, rather an independent (not a B-Bro). It’s difficult to find Republicans that can explain their stances in a way I agree with. But recent NYT & WaPo stories suggest I might not understand what dems stand for either. I’m in listening mode, but it’s difficult to find a

I wouldn’t entertain the idea of spending any tax payer money to help subsidize something as useless as the most superficial meaning of diversity that exists, skin shade. Especially as a handout to well moneyed corporate interests.

Ohh, Tina Fey and Samantha Bee endorsed it, that’s relevant.

Waste of money, just as frivolous as tax cuts for the rich.

Would it be ok to veto it if the law was poorly written so that people could game it without it actually addressing the problem?

Every time I read or hear about crypto fiat currency, the phrase “Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain” comes to mind.

Being intimately involved in the manufacturing world, I can say that in my experiences, based on my own business, as well as several industry groups I belong to and sit in on, US innovation is doing just fine. And now that we can make it more efficiently ourselves, there is little reason to go overseas.

Don’t really get how making that sign gets you elevated to the national spotlight but whatever, carry on with the resistance you brave rebel person!

A good faith reading of that statement clearly means the neighborhood doesn’t have a Nazi problem, thus the sign is just an ugly annoyance that likely makes the neighborhood look like it has a Nazi problem.

Why did the A.V. Club feel compelled to amplify these fringe beliefs? Is it merely that someone else had information that could be regurgitated with nothing of value added to get some more page views? (I know that is probably the reason. That’s so fucking depressing when you think about how good the A.V Club has been

The way these kooks keep their audience is to mix in obvious facts with lunacy. For instance, you’re a complete idiot if you’ve actually read the Steele “dossier” and you still think it’s accurate
