I can see where you’re coming from. I think the movie was fantastic but I also caught it on a whim with little information only to see everyone raving about it a few days later. Had I waited to hear of peoples opinions I too would’ve built in my head more than what it was but luckily I didn’t.

So what I’m hearing is “it’s a fine movie to go watch on a weekend with your wife”....works for me! I don’t need movies to be transformative, if I want to learn something by watching something, I’ll pick up a documentary or research it myself. To me movies = fun time and dinning out.
