It was a little sad that the biggest applause was when Moore came out to announce that the show was over.
The EA conference was pretty boring to me. It had small sparks of interest with BF1, TF2, and ME:a but there were no surprises or deliveries of anything completely new. If I were to rate the conference I’d give it a 5/10.

This EA Conference is hands down the WORST E3 conference I’ve ever seen. It’s worse than the bad Nintendo ones or even the bizarre Project Natal reveal MSoft did.

There’s something special about the way the N64 handled blending pixels when scaling textures or sprites.
though Doom 64 was overshadowed by the release of Turok: Dinosaur Hunter a few weeks prior, Doom 64 holds up a whole lot better than ol’ Turok.
I imagine it’s the characters movement abilities that caused this design decision. Some of the speedier characters (i.e. Tracer) would be nearly impossible to head-shot with a regular hitbox.
But that image is a target art piece and not necessarily indicative of how it looks in game. I haven’t seen anything that flat while playing. The amount of dynamic lighting going on in a given scene is mind boggling. Add that to the physics based animation system, and well you get the point. Even still images…
