On the Subaru stuff a lot of it was owner initiated, I’m fairly familiar with Subarus. Aggressive alignment or wheels with improper offset, too thin of transmission fluid and overly aggressive starts and shifting.

From my business and others I know personally who own businesses.

Because throwing out the baby with the bath water is counter productive.

Ever since Nissan moved to Nashville it kinda said they’re ok with being cheap.

There are still quality products available. I see a bunch of people who lament the lack of quality, but at the same time don’t properly care for their products and find it easier to complain about the lack of quality. My vacuum cleaner is 12 years old and requires just basic maintenance, mower is older than dirt.

Raising the minimum wage typically lowers the maximum wage for execs, as it should. Wage disparity is out of whack right now. It’s a winner take all mentality until things go pear shaped and those very people say there’s no way I can keep track of everything, I can only accept the wage that says I should.

That and even those with the wages to support the American made products cheap out as they have the not my problem mentality, then continue to bitch about cheap foreign made products.

Weird, I’m 6'4 and had no problem fitting in the driver’s seat and carrying three passengers when I had my fiesta.

Two awesome cars man

I think sooner or these cars are getting to the point of buying one missed and rehabilitating it to the condition you see fit.

When preppers start modding...

If our president can’t read, why should we?

Cliched, but the f40 still just does it for me. Whenever I see it in person it erases years from my life and I’m returned to being much younger. It sounds great, supposedly drives fantastic and looks the part. No matter what type of super car Ferrari builds, people still compare it to this.

And I still disagree. Even if the discussion is solely Mexico vs. Germany and just for VW, I still have reservations with the engine with regards to quality control. When the EA888 replaced the EA113, everybody thought the reliability issues would be a thing of the past and new ones popped up. Is the Golf R engine

And my point was that they all have problems, even cars manufactured in Germany. The MKV GTI was not manufactured in Mexico. M96/M97 issues are not just for track days or easily fixed; did you even read the article?

It doesn’t even have to be solely a sports car. Plenty of manufacturers build multiple different cars and styles from a single platform and development sharing is getting more and more common. A DSM sports car along with a compact crossover, and as somebody mentioned below, a 3k/stealth with a corresponding larger

That may be your experience, but a cursory glance through forums as well as Jalopnik and Jalopnik Pt. Deux suggests your experience is atypical. I’m not saying that Honda doesn’t have problems, but your suggestion that because German manufacturing is superior that there won’t be any issues is perhaps fanciful thinking

So, you got Trumped?

That’s kind of my point.  From my previous BMWs and Audis, it’s not an unwise option.

And hopefully an extended warranty.
