Even though I could never afford it (obviously) I think this is ridiculously awesome. I feel like Jalopnik currently has the biggest disconnect in terms of how writers see their takes being received, and what their actual reading audience is. Most of us like to see cool stuff, especially if it was repurposed like this.
Pizza delivery people make 15hr plus tips in my area. Assuming an avg of $3 per tip and 3 deliveries per hour that ends up being $24 an hour. Way more than most unskilled jobs.
I delivered pizza (for a little local shop, not any chain) my last two years in college. Mainly because it was the easiest gig to work around my course load.

I used to bartend at what most considered a dive bar in a rich neighborhood. The owner kept prices high because rich people think they are getting something special when they pay too much for it.
I think this would simply mean the revenue for insurance would move from the insurance companies to the car manufacturers. And the car manufacturers would either self-insure or buy insurance themselves.

I forgot you are a neighbor - I have probably seen that guy at SRQ as I always park in short-term right next to the Uber pickup area. Seen an older guy with a Tesla waiting a few times.

No CVS just now owns the third largest insurance company(Aetna) as well so they control 2/3rd’s of the process for many Americans to receive/be reimbursed medical care and drugs.
So...what does this have to do with cars again?
I don’t mind some news on shit like this when there is SOMETHING related to cars contained within, but come on.....leave this shit to CNN.
