It’ll be interesting to see if they will qualify for unemployment considering it’s probably a net-zero loss compared to their current shitty pay. Plus, they don’t have to spend all day in the airport on purpose. I don’t see how those agents that have public facing jobs wouldn’t want it, but to each their own I suppose.

For the sake of staying on topic, if the dude can be talked down to 10k, than I’d be very tempted.

With satisfaction in the railways high here, is an acceleration of our locomotives all that’s needed to increase rider numbers?”

Finally! Someone else who knows what they are talking about here when the kids try to do train articles.

You and me both! I worked for Dan Gilbert for awhile, and while (pre-medical stuff) he was pretty ruthless, he’s the ideal dude. The guy just wins in business. Which also probably explains why he has no interest in the suck-hole that is manufacturing automobiles during the EV transition. He’s rather buy half the city

I was gonna say Ford because I know enough about it growing up in Detroit, but I didn’t wanna get into that whole discussion.

Ok, fine. You know what I mean. Something like a majority privately controlled interest (like say Space X, or Manchester United, or most freight railroads) work better?

1st: I’ve alluded to this in the past that I am a member of a pretty strong railroad Union. Until whatever contract is eventually ratified, the specifics are an unknown. I read something that, while unverified, claims that one of the disputes involves different pay raise structures for different employees. That’d be a

These are some interesting takes to have, that’s for sure.

It cracks me up when people that don’t understand maintenance, and regulations regarding work hours in mass scale transportation decide that they know better.

I can see a grey, ha!

I agree about pulling over. It wouldn’t exactly work on the Lodge or 1-75 through Atlanta, but a call to 911 is the minimum of right things to do.

It’s not OK anywhere, but it’s pretty typical for the insulated, self-absorbed NY borough rat.

“It seems like GM wants to place almost all the blame for this on LG, and it also seems like LG is willing to accept that blame, or at least willing to pay for it. I’m not sure GM is allowed to get off that easy, though, after all GM was the one who chose LG as a supplier in the first place.”

5th (sorta): Speaking of Unions, great job of negotiating the entire weekend off for the entire staff. Well done!

I really wish they wouldn’t have done this. The wreath was so cool and they got rid of that. Now this nonsense. I’m not sure who decided that this was a great idea in the branding department, but they sure love the look of duct tape.

I’d like to take this time to thank you, and the other “In The Greys” editors, for pointing out the fact that I chose to use an adjective instead of a noun to further my point.

1st: I am a fan of Mary Barra. I think she is a very competent CEO. What I’m saying is that for the first time in quite awhile I have some faith in GM as an investment. I plan on upping my stake in them very soon.

It is a NY, NY listing. With the exception of a very few tony school districts/private schools, it’s not exactly an area that is well known for an educated populous.

Breaking news (wink, wink): Gulfstream announced 2 new jets this week.
