Well yes, it’s only at AMC theaters
Well, that sucks!
Now I have to look up praise-miming because I stupidly thought it was just a funny thing Honk for Jesus made up.
People who go to movies -- which, okay, fair.
Wait, this is literally just the Roku Channel season, but on Comedy Central??
I’m such a completist that I have an embarrassingly small number of shows I ever did quit after being a devotee for multiple seasons, but interestingly enough, two of the ones I managed to drop are on this list: Handmaid’s Tale and Walking Dead. I feel somehow like my cessation is validated by both being included on a…
Me too, dammit. I always think I’ll drop Survivor and then I get stupidly excited when a new season begins. It’s a pretty addictive formula.
Actresses would be nice. Last season they didn’t have a single actress host until after the new year, it was really bizarre (they did have two whole women host in that stretch but one was a pop star and the other was one of those famous-for-fame people), and it seems they’re starting off similarly this year too.
Does this mean regular coverage or...?
That was an absolutely magical delivery. I had this moment going into the episode where I was like, “Okay, she is beloved and it was wonderful to see her win, but was it because she’s beloved? Isn’t her character more of the staid stoic one that all the comic characters bounce off of?” But nope, she’s friggin’…
If there’s a dominant “falling for each other immediately as we meet” storyline in this show at all (I assume you mean Janine/Gregory?), it’s not particularly important. I think this show is great and have barely even noticed any check-ins on that, which is good because I never find those arcs satisfying as driving…
But he kissed her, right? Or did I read that wrong?
I was about to say -- I hope he can still come visit for mayoral cameos because he nailed that
Hinting at a revival of the Alison/Sam romance seemed entirely unnecessary
Why would it be icky? I mean obviously she’s married, but outside of that. I forget a lot of the connections in this show but I couldn’t even figure out why we’d think it was icky.
I’m glad Patty saw Tammy in the video and not Allison. Maybe now she’ll think this whole thing is Allison trying to cover for Patty and be more sympathetic?
Regina Hall was absolutely incredible in this.
I think she’s definitely attracted to her — frankly a lot of Tammy’s little suspicions come about because she’s regularly in Patty’s orbit. The very sincere feelings seem to be the obstacle to just steering clear of someone she’s falling for, rather than Tammy’s observational skills being the obstacle to Patty staying…
Ah, got it. Yes, I watched the first 2 already and it’s going to be rough to wait a week in between episodes, especially since they’re so short.
