It’s actually pretty solid from an American perspective (so far)
His character is probably the best-written character in that show, honestly. Far and away.
I wouldn’t say she’s the “real villain” of the show, but she certainly isn’t framed as any kind of hero
Good point about Bad Sisters, a show I started and reminded me of this one — but by the second episode of that one I was 100% in favor of the murder, unlike this show, where I’m definitely not rooting for Allison’s plan to go through as originally conceived. (Nor do I think I’m meant to.) I can’t quite tell what I…
I think you’ve got it with the Neil factor - she has to disappear. (And secondarily, just divorcing him is sort of admitting that her first idea was dead wrong and she’s unwilling to do that at this point.)
So does Marwa not live at the house? I was confused about both Guillermo and Nadja saying they were there alone, when I assumed Marwa also lives there. (I’m glad they had her in the episode, but it doesn’t exactly clear that up)
Nothing in the series contradicts the history you mentioned, I don’t think it was really reimagined at all for this show outside of them obviously being fictional characters/situations.
It’s definitely a slasher movie, it’s just that the slasher-movie of it all is the lease effective part of the movie
Yikes, here’s hoping
Uh-oh, what did he do?
The one that took place at a drive-in theater was pretty decent, if I recall correctly, but the rest were fairly abysmal.
Yep, no need to bother trying anymore if you’re 52! Couldn’t be that you haven’t had the right connections or that you came to writing a little later in life. 52? Nothing left to say if you’re not already successful, I guess!
And she declined her nomination for Victor/Victoria!
Most of her lifetime achievement didn’t take place on Broadway, though. She’s really been more of a film and TV star, and has been honored there in major ways.
The Gene/Jim scenes really did look like a Meisner acting class exercise, I sat right up when I realized what they were doing. So well done.
And then fell asleep right next to Suzanne Pleshette.
Did it?
Oh so the original kill in the pilot? The guy from acting class?
So who is Ryan? I don’t remember and I’m lazy.
