Hold up, I missed a child getting curb-stomped? What happened??

It’s possible, but unless she’s doing something untoward with the stories of the survivors in the group, I guess it does no harm as long as they’re getting something out of the group. (To me, clinking coins is just evidence that people are just chipping in for room use and snacks.)
She really took my breath away in this excellent show, I was very impressed. (With Slater as well.) Definitely not what I expected -- the first season was more of a guilty pleasure viewing, this was top notch.
Given that it spanned so many decades, I do think she was sympathetic for a good chunk of the chronology but then that went entirely over the cliff -- she was entirely insufferable after a certain point. I think the series did a great job with that.
Oh I was going to ask about more recent photos (all the memorializing articles seem unable or unwilling to find a photo post-45), so I guess Instagram is my answer!
Really one of the greatest line deliveries in all of cinema.
Loved Lighthouse and Session 9 too!
Oh I absolutely adored House of the Devil. Excellent, gripping slow burn. I don’t think I’ve seen Innkeepers or Pretty Thing... yet
Uggggh. Thank you, though, for that little trick! For something that shouldn’t require a trick.
What would be another example of slow burn horror? I feel like that is something I like! But maybe not.
It seems like the common denominator is that the lists that are about a specific streaming platform are done as a slide show, while the regular lists that aren’t promoting for a brand are not. When this one first posted, I was able to just manually type in the “28" up in the browser, but that ended quickly and now it…
I just watched that yesterday and it was so lovely!
Just here to see if anyone took the hit and compiled the list so we didn’t have to click through all 28!
I think after further investigation that one was proven to be an equal-opportunity asshole to all those she considered her lessers (so, almost everyone).
I hear you but I’d say it’s far less about Schlafly than it appears to be, so that’s a huge point in its favor. (Though I would not recommend a binge, since she is still there.)
I’m delighted to see Dirty John: Betty here (in addition to the expected shows, of course). This season is really, really good -- far less by-the-numbers true crime story and far more art. Peet and Slater are tremendous.
“It’s worrying though that she’s getting power and help from the internet, which can be fickle.” Yes, I was thinking the same thing — that the response is validating right now, but the specifics will come out soon enough and there’s no way a lot of people don’t then turn on her, thinking it was sleazy but not rape and…
He does remain a heartthrob! Just not a GH heartthrob.
I wish more people were watching but I also feel like it’s a really difficult sell at this particularly dark moment in time. I’d actually feel guilty talking anyone into giving it a shot right now (I feel bad enough for my partner sitting next to me on the couch, who I totally roped into it!).
100%. I was dying laughing at Jane having to originate the idea as surely no woman before her had ever considered a shared experience could be worth talking about.
