Volkswagen HAS a truck:

So original. You should use that line at parties.

I bought my Ridgeline because i valued its utility and ride and drive qualities over appearance. It’s a truck you can take on a ten-hour interstate trip across the country and arrive refreshed, yet still carry 1500lbs payload and tow 5000lbs.

That’s the problem, you can get a bigger, more capable truck for the same money. There were plenty of Gladiators at the local Jeep dealership for well into the $50k range. That’s 3/4 ton truck money. I love the idea of a Wrangler pickup priced to compete with midsize offerings, not so much priced against 1/2 to 3/4

That’s just not true, you can find F150's starting at $20k for the base with V6.

I’ve seen the official title to the car that states it was sold to the dealer on 11/15, and the 11/18 date of the audit came from Tesla themselves. It does not appear the dealer is lying about this.

This is nothing new. I owned a few 80's GM cars where they removed features like the air conditioning, power windows, etc, 10 years after they were new. ;)

Hi there bootlicker.

But remember, Tesla sold the car on 11/15. When they did the audit, they were no longer the owners of the car.

man, I even put the ‘s’ at the beginning of the post so people like you wouldn’t have a rage stroke before you got to the ‘/s’ at the end.

I see Tesla is now doing with their cars what I used to do with my Bumble profiles. See, I’m not technically lying — you see, I used to be a chiseled, rippling mass of 6'4" muscle.

This should be a cautionary tale— Tesla is clearly telegraphing intent to “make life miserable” for owners once these cars go off warranty and off support. Parts will get hard and “keeping the functions I paid for” will get even harder.

I’m just looking forward to buying a 2032 4Runner with the current engine and transmission.

Olds died years ago

Some of us can’t plug in when we get home

I started reading this article thinking “why not just Yeti?” Then I remembered that, in order to make it a week with my cooler, I’m filling it 60%+ with solid ice in the first place, so a lot less room for food.

There’s a big difference in the underlying technology between these two types of coolers, something that isn’t always obvious to consumers. As you experienced, they also behave dramatically different in practice.

Cool that Dometic is wooing journalists these days. Sounds like a cool trip!

I just have one question. How did you get your doggo to wear sunglasses? Mine acts like I’m torturing her whenever I try.
