The Grim Reaper is pretty much the equivalent. They could have even gone with Michael (being an asshole like in Legion), Samel, or just straight up gone with Satan. There are 7 different princes of Hell that could have fulfilled that part of the plot of a demon that wants to fuck with humanity for funsies.

Jaime Lannister was in the movie too, and some Australian guy I’ve never heard of.

He was the bad guy in Deadpool and the original Daario in GoT.

The people in Gods of Egypt all have the same careers they did before the movie, and people mostly don’t remember they were in it at all.
