That’s why I’m liking Terry Crews more and more all the time.
That’s why I’m liking Terry Crews more and more all the time.
That’s basically where my problem with it and mods like it always ends up. It’s not that I end up feeling prudish, it’s that I’m like, “for god’s sake, Charlotte, stop blowing everyone you see!!”
She nailed snark, tbh
“And I really can’t see the Garofalo of the early 90s - the alt comic feminist - allowing a comic of that generation to skate so easily if they’d done something like that to her.”
All of your boring-ass blah blah about “then why are you engaging with people who bug you”? Tu quoque. I’m here to make stupid jokes; you’re the CK enthusiast tilting at lazy misandrists on a feminist blog.
Again, you need to consider the ways that you’re fortunate in life compared to me. I was cursed by a Japanese middle school’s resident ghost after a misadventure seeking true love. Now I’m doomed to forever click on Jezebel articles about people that I find moderately annoying.
“I think Louis C.K., leave Louis C.K. alone,”
“Why is that Sim grilling burgers for breakfast?”
It was 5$ yesterday on origin for the base game, and all the dlc half off
Wicked Whims is a well made mod, but it interrupts the game too much for me to consider it essential. It makes SO many changes, the game becomes overly focused on sex and sexuality—all of the other kinds of gameplay fall to the background. It’s not that I dislike it, but I don’t consider it essential.
Eternally grateful for your awesome coverage of this game. Thanks!
Well at least there’s Terry Crews.

My pleasure. For my part, I appreciate your response to my initial criticism of your post elsewhere in here, which I can’t find now because Kinja sucks and keeps hanging while loading the page.
Yet you keep saying “COPS will assume the victim is lying.”
A detective will perform any investigation that is required prior to an arrest; an officer responds to a complaint, makes a determination about sufficient cause, and will either make an arrest on the spot—or not. There is no presumption about veracity at that…
Except they really, really won’t. Both of my parents are—or were, before they retired—police officers. Dad was an officer in the MPs for twenty odd years.
They act on reports. If there is sufficient cause to make an arrest, they make an arrest—and sufficient cause is a significantly lower legal bar than the “reasonable…
On top of all the problems with idol culture, it’s all compounded by basic expectations of Japanese society; never cause a scene, don’t inconvenience others, no one wants to hear your problems, be humble at any cost, don’t stand up for yourself because it could trouble those around you, never be different, never break…
Brother bear, you said, “Anything that can’t be verified to a specific legal threshold is inherently false.”
The definitions provided were to make very clear that an accusation that has not met the burden of proof for conviction is not “inherently false,” thus the differentiation between acquittal (meaning “hey, this…
Lolno.
I think this attitude skips the nuances of the situation in favor of an oversimplified version of: “they knew what they signed up for.”
I explained this at length to another poster, so I’m just gonna copy and paste here:
