Yah... Like, I’ve never had that many ‘gaming friends’, and I honestly don’t have much of a desire to make any, either? I like playing games alone; that’s why I’ve been a BioWare fan since I was, like, nine.

Honestly... this presentation worried me more and more about Anthem. First, I’m skeptical about the story focus in a mulitplayer game, it just has this annoying tendency to not work that well... but okay, maybe they can pull that off.

Why make a new IP when they could have just used Mass Effect? BioWare has been going downhill for a long time, and I don’t have any more faith in them.

I somehow was even more confused by this game after the presentation than before it and it took me a moment to figure out why. So Bioware’s central pitch that this is a co-op game build around a strong single player narrative experience, but then they utterly refused to actually tell us anything concrete that

Well, showing the patients without consent in the video, if even for a moment, does. And with 100 complaints, at least 7 suits, and a patient suffering permanent brain damage, this probably goes beyond her on-video antics.

Just sad as shit.

Agreed. Par for the course at that time would have been to fire him. If Rogers were truly homophobic, he would have and no one would have batted an eye.

Holy Christmas, Rich. It was the 1960s. And you want to throw Mr. Rogers under the bus for speaking true about the realities of the time? For acknowledging that an openly gay Black man would not fly on a children’s program?

GTFO.

I think your title misrepresents the body of the article, Fred did the best he could. In fact I’m quite comfortable saying he’s one of the best people to have ever lived. He is a paragon, and puts the rest of us to shame.

Honestly if this is the worst we ever unearth about Mr Rogers I’ll take it

I see what you’re going for here Rich, but you didn’t stick the landing. You kind of look like way more of an asshole than Rogers. Strong attempt to shit on a good guy though.

But still, it illustrates the finite nature of Mr. Rogers’s ideals. “I like you just the way you are,” he often said, but in the case of Clemmons there was a caveat: “...I just need you to show less of the way you are.” This information through the lens of contemporary culture, in which an employer legislating what

She agreed to discuss the lie, not her sex life.

There’s not much I judge parents on, but failing to vaccinate is absolutely one of them.

And, if you don’t know what it’s like to have the entire world openly criticize, judge, throw uninformed opinions,

Journalists need to be both accurate and responsible. Avoiding certain language and details can literally help people stay alive and you’re against that?

You could relate to him. He lived this life full of adventure, food, booze, and fun times, but I think he was always in awe of it and constantly looking at it from an outsider’s perspective. It always felt like he included his audience in the story as if to say “look at this shit, what is this?”

I liked him, too. I’ve always thought of him as an endearing asshole, honestly, one of my favorite personality types.

I did too. He was a breath fresh air. Was just himself, no apologies. I had a close friend internship with him and has nothing but good things to say.

I think so many of us related to him so much because yes, he could be an asshole, but you’re right I do think he tried to be a good person
