One’s experience and like or dislike of DST definitely seems to depend which side of the time zone you live on. In MA, we are way too far east for EST. It’s worse in Maine of course. The opposite applies to Spain where no-one has their dinner until 8pm because it’s way too far to the West.

Which, incidentally is one of the things that pisses me off so much about watching soccer. In rugby, one person, the captain, is allowed to talk to the referee. Anyone else mouths off and they are sent to the sin-bin. How that rubbish is allowed (and it is clearly tolerated) is beyond me. It adds nothing to the game
