To be fair, none of those cases were acquired in the US. All had gotten infected abroad and come home with it.

Learning for people who are too busy to do a formal course but would like to understand at least the basic terminology of coding given it’s relative importance in the world today.
And it’s Easter Sunday in the Orthodox Church. Coincidence????
Christ, are you really that naive? Many FBS schools run athletics at a “loss”. The only way that they can do that given the enormous revenue they pull in is by paying themselves outrageous salaries and building bigger and bigger facilities.
Except... he realized immediately that he had screwed up and took his punishment without a word. Not the behavior of someone who knows nothing.
Yes but in baseball there isn’t an expectation that people can take home the balls, not to mention a constant battle for said balls. Your instinct is to go for the available ball first and think about it afterwards. It is stupid to equate this with basketball (or the theater) because the context is completely…
This is exactly why we have antitrust legislation. The barriers to entry are too high at this point and the league effectively works as a cartel. Fortunately, from the perspective of major US sports leagues, they got antitrust exemptions that have allowed them to become the behemoths they are today. It is just not…
Except that in any other field of work, a cartel like the NFL would not be allowed to operate as it does - colluding to drive down wages and using the salary cap as a cudgel to beat their employees with. This is about as far from the ideal of capitalism as you can get - it is an oligarchy.
Except the salary cap itself is an artificial construct designed to maintain profits... I mean parity. These are massively profitable enterprises which are built at least in part around the idea of paying their employees as little as they can get away with. The American Dream, really I suppose.

Having now watched a compilation of him trying to pull off that trick in competitive matches over and over again, I can totally understand the guy who mashed him in that clip. He is lucky he didn’t get killed by someone. In one of the clips, a defender nearly takes his head off.
I don’t know. The extremely cynical part of me thinks that once he ends up in a big name program and is himself trying to hang on to players who want to leave with the last coach, he will rapidly change his tune.
Well, he is a very fat rabbit.
Haven't refrigerated butter for 6 years. Always have a stick on the counter. Never goes bad unless we go away for more than a few days. Nothing worse than trying to spread hard butter on soft bread.
Who is it?
I’d love to see a compilation of crappy half-court misses
He’ll get drafted but it may hurt his stock and cost him some money. I mean, all he had to do was not drink and drive for a few weeks. Just until the draft.
This is not true. The most recent, well performed research suggests that there is a small increase in risk - in the region of 1 extra death for every 200 births. You have to account for the fact that home births are generally lower risk pregnancies a priori.
PLoS ONe published 28,000 papers last year.
