My mom’s mix was Spam, Portuguese sausage, lap cheong, and bacon. Sweet, salty, peppery, and fried all at once. She drained the grease, so it wasn’t completely disgusting, but that pan never had to be oiled. So good. The fact that I am now vegan for health reasons may or may not be relevant.
