It was Backblaze's previous post on drive reliability, that gave me complete confidence in buying two factory-reconditioned 4TB HGST drives from Woot, last month to build my NAS. That specific model has 1.2% failure rate in their drive list. Amazingly, Woot had them for $100 each!!!

Either it's because he's annoying or the truthiness of his misconceptions mostly lie in semantics, but I found this video pointless and low in value.

It's not the same. I used to have yellow-tinted lenses, and they never reflected light the way Gunnar lenses do. Right now it's 100% cloudy outside, but the reflection in my Gunnars is an intense blue — a coating on the surface that adds an additional filter.

2FA, baby, all the way.

Not trying to troll, but I think you'll get a kick out of this study that is going viral.

Nice. Can't wait to get the update.

That's interesting. I know when my father tastes things at Costco, he'd often want to buy that item. But when I taste something, I do it only to have snacks while I shop, and I never buy what I taste.

My loan wasn't originally with Citi, either. It was purchased, twice, from a different financial institution. You can't stop them from packaging mortgages together and reselling them.

I always thought that this was a scam. I do as the advised method, applying additional payment in my monthly mortgage statement towards the principal. At some point during the life of your mortgage, assuming it is not a balloon, will stop being useful as a tax deduction.

By coincidence, former UM coach RichRod did the same thing in 2012 when he let Arizona Wildcats quarterback Matt Scott continue to play despite throwing up in the field, following a hit to the head.

Hey, skip that Lumsing 6000 mAh model and go for the one with 10400 mAh for the same price!

I buy day-old, French-style bread (large, buttery square form), sliced 1" thick. I've mentioned this before on here: I then add a shot of Irish Cream to the batter which has half-and-half, egg, cinnamon and nutmeg.

I'm not going to say where the free broadcasts are, because I don't want them to shut down — as alluded to in the Living on the Cheap blog post, they're being shut down. Two years ago there were many options available, openly; today it's extremely limited.

So for instance, "Cheques" instead of "checks", "favour" instead of "favor", and so on. Sometimes it seems the wording is just odd.

Ever notice how many of these phishing scams use British English, not American English?

Someone send Vladimir Putin the entire Harry Potter series. ;)

Beer is food, right? Oregon is The King of the Brewery.

I guess this means that I'll have to keep with DVDs so that I can binge watch GoT.
