I think you’re saying schools/conferences would negotiate tv contracts then all that revenue goes to the NCAA or its successor to divvy up amongst all college athletes nationwide. If only it could be so simple. Sounds like a clusterfuck to me.
The process of implementing a fair and comprehensive system for paying college athletes seems like it would be a complete fucking mess. Am I the only one who would rather get rid of college sports before we start paying athletes? It’s fucking college. If you wanna be a professional athlete, do it some place else…
