Reminds me of a time we got delayed for nearly two hours going from Santa Barbara to LAX. I was like, “at this rate if they just let us taxi onto US-101 southbound we’d be there just as fast.”

Let time I flew to Allentown through Philly I had a 4 hour layover in both directions. It was quicker to drive. I wouldn’t mind this if it eliminated the wait. 

Ehh, I think it’s a wash. If a trip is under 300 miles, I typically would rather take some kind of ground transportation than fly anyway, as long as the ground option was cheaper.
