Oh my god I’m so glad there’s a space for me to express how stupid this article is. It’s literally the exact same article papers have been writing about rich white kids in Manhattan since the 1920s, updated each year to include the new technology and trend.

I do agree that CGI trailers are a load of horseshit, but Microsoft has said Scalebound and Crackdown will both be at Gamescom, and as far as we know neither of those games have lost their developers.

So what your saying is this kickstarter was in fact a disguised pre-order by sony to see if it was worth signing on to help produce the game.

Wreck-it Ralph is based on a made up video game that adds video game elements to it . . . are we really getting that technical here? Scott Pilgrim is the best video game movie I have ever seen. Unless in real life people normally explode into coins and get 1-ups and take warp zones.

Watch “The Prestige” from Christopher Nolan with Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale, you will understand. Plus, this movie is absolutely fantastic!

Link is right about (at least) one thing: the NA scene is a complete joke. Used to be we could at LEAST compete with EU, even beat them on occasion, but the fact that TSM got completely stomped at the MSI is just proof that NA doesn’t have a prayer in the current League scene unless some drastic changes are made...and

Oh boy! I can’t wait to experiment with all his new custom Moves!

I’m w/ Mildare here, put’m up!

I’ve read this whole thread. I can’t believe I did, even with my interest on the matter.

This is the best thing I’ve ever read on this site, and I read this site daily. You, sir, are a beacon of integrity, and are a gentleman and a scholar.

Yes, we’re talking about the same Kotaku, a news and opinion outlet like any other that will have successes and stumbles along the way. I agonize about stories all the time, some I wish we did better, some that we’ve had to run despite a lot of resistance from people involved who didn’t want us to tell a fair

I never know what percentage to tip.

I entered a Hearthstone tournament last year at Insomnia52. Was through to the semi-finals out of a bracket of dozens of people and playing well. Came up against a kid who can't have been older than 14 and the 3 decks he'd brought were ; face hunter, zoo warlock, and some aggro mage. Basically everything horrible.

You're trying just a tad bit too hard. Just a tad.

You must have attended a different GDC than the one I saw, Mr. Nathan, for all I saw before me was the desiccated corpse of the once Safe Male Space known as Gaming.

"There continue to be women, people of color, lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, and queer artists who are being trolled and spammed and doxxed and hacked," he says. "Even driven from their homes. It's no longer possible for those of us in this room to ignore or minimize these issues in our industry or with our art."

He links a few in the article, here's one.

I THINK she understands her own argument... it's just highly flawed and often stems from a place of ignorance...

She's missing one important thing, a step that comes before her other eight. That important thing is to find someone else to spearhead this campaign. She's too toxic of an individual to be the one to be the focus of this, there are times I don't even think she understands her own argument or video games at all.
