ACTUALLY, if you want to be technical, it depends upon the context. Z Brush and Mudbox are called sculpting because they’re specific tools that allow you to freely flex the model with nearly infinite detail, handling the polygons for you.

Actually, if you want to be technical, drawing in 3D is called “sculpting”. Z Brush and Mudbox are the two most popular sculpting tools.  Just because the result is a 3D model doesn’t necessarily mean it’s “modeling”.  

That’s incorrect. Its a 3D model so they are modeling. This is not drawing, its tool-assisted modeling. The result is a 3D model.

They’re still drawing. Even though it’s in a 3D plain, they’re not doing any modeling.

If it’s 3D, I’d say ‘modeling’ is the appropriate term, not ‘drawing’...even if you’re doing it with a Wacom stylus. This looks great though, I’m definitely going to have to check it out.
