Camilla absolutely deserves it.
Camilla absolutely deserves it.
You’re making excuses for him and there are no excuses for a man to behave the way he did in the last couple of decades of the 20th Century.
Gosh it’s too bad there weren’t any experts out there who could’ve helped Charles with his marriage and his empathy.
It’s also total BS. They were all at Balmoral, including Sarah, when the papers released those pictures, and the royal family was blindsided by it. I mean this show acts like everyone who was alive in the 90s and witnessed, via the media, this stuff as it happened, have all dropped dead. It drives me nuts.
The story the The Crown tells about Margaret and Townsend falls back on the news media story told at the time which was a myth. Decades afterwards, the government released papers that revealed that Elizabeth fully supported Margaret and Townsend and so did the government. The only thing asked of Margaret by the…
Elizabeth II had a much softer face and a charming smile. I love Staunton but she makes a much more natural Dolores Umbridge than she does an Elizabeth Windsor.
This last season lacks focus (or a tighter treatment).
You should finish Hawkeye. It’s actually good. I was surprised.
They did, they flew out of the storm.
I don’t think Aemond’s off the hook at all. And his last expression made it pretty clear he knew he’d just started a war.
Downton Abbey was more entertaining. I actually wanted to know what was going to happen to all the characters on that show. And then their was Maggie Smith and her zingers.
I was just thinking that reading this recap was more exciting than watching the episode (or the entire series). Weirdly boring is exactly right. It always amazes me when professionals turn what should be an entertaining and compelling story into snoozefest.
RHOBH has had much better villains than Rinna and they can get a better villain after her. She’s increasing unpopular with the fans and was booed at Bravocon last week. Her latest SM post about Kathy went too far and she may have done herself in with it.
Eh the real story is Kathy negotiated a high salary for appearing as a friend off. This pissed off a specific clique within the RHoBH group and they’ve spent the entire season trying to bring her down.
Because people can do the bad boy thing without actually doing the bad boy thing.
I was using Otto as an example of what seems to be a systemic problem with the show. A lot of the characters on the show just aren’t compelling, but they’re written/directed by the same people who are writing/directing D’Arcy and Smith. So some it’s got to be on the actors too.
“Every time a Targaryen is born the gods toss a coin and the world holds it breath.” ~ Varys
Yep. At this point I’m only watching for Emma D’Arcy and Matt Smith. As the reviewer pointed out, the only time there’s any energy to this show is when they’re on screen. Idk if it’s miscasting or direction or what but when I’m watching say Otto Hightower I find myself thinking how much better Hugh Dancy would have…
Sir Criston really is taking #niceguy a little too far though.
