Her reviews are definitely providing a bonding experience for the commenters here. That’s probably the nicest thing I can say about them.

You should listen to them, particularly The Pill, which was banned from by several country music stations when it was released. It also crossed over and hit #5 on Billboards top 100. Loretta was ahead of her time in country music and most of those songs are about female empowerment, when other female country artists…
Idk. Remember that first trailer where Queen Ramonda talked about losing both her children? Here’s hoping they got rid of the Leticia Wright problem by killing off her character. Honestly I would have just fired Wright and recast her. Wright absolutely was disposable.
Graphically demonstrated with Aemma’s death.
Yep it’s called an inversion and even if it’s done successfully, lots of times the baby will flip back into breech position before birth.
Oh jeez I missed that one. Probably because there was such a wealth of wtf in this review (like there always is).
Jenna also describes Qarl and Laenor as faking his death on their own,
As a nurse who used to work post partum I can tell you that there was no chance Laena would have survived a C-section. She would have bled out very quickly due to the nature of the blood supply that is developed to sustain a pregnancy. Even today in the real world with all its medical advances hemorrhage is one of the…
Reinhold and Slater are perfect as the kidnappers. I mean that whole movie was just perfectly cast. And there are so many great scenes in that movie, but one of my faves is the last scene between Bette and Danny.
Dirty Rotten Scoundrels is just one the best comedies ever. Solid gold.
I’m watching The Serpent Queen right now and she’s great in it. In fact I look forward to new episodes of that on Sundays way more than I do House of the Dragon. When she’s on the screen, she’s riveting. She really commands it.
You forgot Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.
Did not know Anita Morris was on MV. She was in one of my all time favorite movies, and Bill Pullman was her idiot lover. Ruthless People — about as perfect a comedy as it gets.
I totally agree with you here. As well DA started with a better premise. You have this family whose future is all settle and then this major disaster happens which completely shakes things up, especially with this new dark horse heir that nobody knows. And honestly I think the DA characters were much more intriguing…
I hope we get better, more interesting arcs for a lot of the characters as the show progresses. If season two is anything like season one, I’ll probably stop watching it.
Why do you think the Popes kept calling for Crusades to free the Holy Land? It was to give the regular folks a break by getting those murdering, sociopathic knights out of Europe to stop the progress of the murdering sociopathic saracens.
Gilded Age is Julian Fellowes and, in fairness to him, while he started out in Downton Abbey making Barrow the tropey scheming gay, he did eventually redeem the character, and gave him a happy ending in the latest movie. It looks like Fellowes has learned something after all.
The reviewer’s argument pretty much lacks credibility when she herself commits bi eraser in labelling Ellaria Sand gay. Ellaria was clearly presented as just as bisexual as her lover, Oberyn, who was also the father of her daughter.
I couldn’t believe that when I read it. What a dumbass.
Science degree and career in the medical field here. I know about which masks protect the wearer, and you are right about the N95 and the NK95 -- they work because they filter out anything up to 0.05 microns in size. Covid partices range from 0.07 to 0.09. But I still see people wearing cloth masks or flimsy paper…
