My thoughts exactly. Looks like a vanilla origin story AGAIN and I thought we moved past that.

I say January 13th, 1976 for example. Does the rest of the world say 13th of January? ‘cause my brain goes Left to Right and I’m not changing!

So far this is a “meh”.

Me: “I want to watch Speed with Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock.”

I’m glad someone else said it before me. Despite the promise of martial arts action this... looked more or less like every other MCU trailer, except with more kicking to go with the CGI.

Not really. It still leaves a bit of ambiguity if you’re talking about September 3 or March 9.

[MST3K Commentators]: Time to kill off Tony Leung’s character!

I thought the same thing. My only hope is that there is less CGI and more legit kung fu (or whatever style(s) they might be using. I’m not expert).

Eh, there are arguments to be made in favor of many different date formats. Just go with it.

20210903' is clear and concise.

So... many... tropes...

So. Yeah. It was today when I realized that the title of this referred to The Mandarin. Go figure. Look at me paying attention. Also if you watched that trailer and took away “Family Drama” I feel you may be looking for that.

I suppose hiring Akwafina is the new prerequisite for Asian-led movies these days.

YES, Ben Kingsley played “The Mandarin” of the Ten Rings terrorist group in Iron Man 3. Except he didn’t, he played an actor named Trevor Slattery posing as the Mandarin, hired by AIM, led by IM3's villain Aldrich Killian.

That was very eh.

Was not expecting this to look so...rough.

Wow. I was bored with that trailer. I would’ve preferred Asian lead Iron Fist, and not I’m a guy that know all martial arts. But it’s just the first trailer. Maybe the second one would get me motivated. I’ll just enjoy Daredevil, and Into the Badlands in the meantime.

his cock!

Looks really fun.

I thought we already covered this?
