All I’ve ever wanted from a poached egg is cooked white and runny yolk in a convenient package. I get that from soft-boiled eggs. That’s not a copout at all.
That’s not how it works without an OLED screen which only the X has.
Collegiate wrestling now requires competitors to have a certain hydration level in addition to the weight limits.
This is a good post, bit you severely underestimate the “walk around” weights of these fighters. /nitpick
Yeah, it’s not the weight classes so much as it is fighters trying to game the weight classes.
“If the UFC added more weight classes... fighters wouldn’t be forced into as many unhealthy situations and have their kidneys shut down because of extreme cuts.”
I appreciate his animation, but not his lack of variety. Same arm swoop gesture over and over.
Samer for a guy writing about Jeopardy! you have a very basic understanding of how the production works.
I’d rather stab myself in the eye with an icepick than watch 13 minutes of this guy. Thanks though.
Jeopardy films 5 episodes on Tuesday, and Wednesday, all back to back, from about 8am-3pm. These episodes were likely filmed back in July/August. My wife is going on the show this month, and they told her that her episode(s) would air sometime in January.
Maybe they’ll have it in mind for the future, but unless he’s gone on a Jennings-like run, don’t they tape far enough ahead that he’s probably already done?
He almost seems too quirky, even scripted, as a scheme to drum up ratings. Probably not true, but I feel like I’m watching the male version of Gloria in some cheesy remake of White Men Can’t Jump (which is assuredly in production somewhere).

I’ve been writing bar trivia question for years and years. So believe me when I say this, you are goddamned right. It is so hard now to come up with an original question.
Having competed in Quiz Bowl for years, he’s not wrong. You can only write so many questions about trivia.
THIS.
i love dogs with every fiber of my being. i see service dogs working, and i think how great they are at their job, get a little sad that i wont be able to pet them, but then go back to thinking how good of a job that sweet bup is doing.
Important to note that the $20 USB-C to 3.5mm adapter comes with the phone and costs $20 only as a replacement. There are other, less expensive adapters available. Like it or not, the 3.5mm jack rapidly is becoming a thing of the past.
Honestly, as much of a dog lover as I am, and as difficult as it is for me to let any sweet pooch just go by, I leave the service dogs alone. They’ve got a hard enough job as it is without me getting in the way.
