I’m with you. The first transformers movie is just a damn good time at the movie theater. Sure, it’s dumb as hell, but I can still remember the moment when I watching it with my adult, incredibly accomplished, and brilliant twin sister where she turned to me and whispered “this is fucking awesome!” when the cop

I’m a little confused as to why numbers are idiotic but years are common sense. Both are meant to delineate where a product falls on the release line. Calling a car a 2005 model just means its newer than a 2004 but older than a 2006. Calling a phone the 6 means it’s newer than the 5 but older than the 7. The “X” is

I can’t stand listening to Gus Johnson call a game. We get it- sport is exciting. But freaking out every time somebody completes a 20 yard pass or runs for a first down is just exhausting. I can still remember screaming “SHUT UP!” at the television when listening to him call March Madness games.

I mean, as a DC native and Nats fan, I greatly enjoyed it :)

My thoughts exactly. Which makes his lackadaisical effort chasing the ball to the wall all the worse. Even with that laziness they STILL almost had Taylor at home. If he had put in a halfway decent effort Taylor either stays at third or is thrown out by a mile at home. Just a horrible, horrible play.

They didn’t even have reasonable suspicion of a shooting? I thought Bennett said in his twitter statement that he and everyone around heard gunshots. Are you saying that everyone is just making that up?

Hey guys, I found the jackass. What do I win?

Anybody else consistently have issues with embedded MLB videos on deadspin? I get the game audio in the background, but instead of the clip all I get are commercials playing on an endless loop.

So you called a bunch of people and got no information? Based off the headline I thought something actually happened. Nope- just a bunch of dead ends. I hope reporters don’t start reporting every time they have nothing to report.

I’ve seen this style defense before and it always strikes me as a strawman. Most of the criticism that I’ve seen has been about how the movie was simply a poorly made film, not that the movie was bad just because it was about aliens and had ridiculous plot elements. Sure, the OT had ridiculous plot elements, but the

If we’re not supposed to root for people who think Melo is soft then who can we root for?

You must have a lot of issues with post-1960s basketball if you think that should have been called a carry. Either that, or you’re Patrick Ewing.

I never have to scroll far to be reminded that the people who comment on Kinja articles are typically jerks.

Some people are fans of the Green Bay Packers. But many, many more people are NOT fans of the Green Bay Packers.”

Yeah, and I’d say in a natural disaster involving millions of people 550 reports is pretty low given the financial incentives that exist to jack up prices to gouge people. Agree to disagree.

Ay yi yi. Your comment literally has nothing to do with mine, which makes it very frustrating to get notified about this wall of text you sent me. I understand the economic argument you’re making. It’s VERY basic. It’s literally unrelated to my comment, which was pointing out that the author of this article was

Ummm...thanks for letting me know? I’m not sure what purpose that reply was meant to serve, unless you took the words “dramatically reduces” to somehow mean “completely eliminates”?

“It’s incredible that anyone could ask whether selling $100 cases of water is actually good in the middle of this disaster like this, but here we are.”

I don’t understand the downfall of Littlefinger as a character. He was one of the most interesting and fascinating characters on the show for 4-5 seasons. In the past 2-3 seasons they’ve made him into a mustache twirling villain; completely uninteresting, with no motivations other than to make the audience despise
