I can’t stand listening to Gus Johnson call a game. We get it- sport is exciting. But freaking out every time somebody completes a 20 yard pass or runs for a first down is just exhausting. I can still remember screaming “SHUT UP!” at the television when listening to him call March Madness games.

My thoughts exactly. Which makes his lackadaisical effort chasing the ball to the wall all the worse. Even with that laziness they STILL almost had Taylor at home. If he had put in a halfway decent effort Taylor either stays at third or is thrown out by a mile at home. Just a horrible, horrible play.

Anybody else consistently have issues with embedded MLB videos on deadspin? I get the game audio in the background, but instead of the clip all I get are commercials playing on an endless loop.
