I test drove an M-sport 340xi and a S4 back to back, no comparison. The S4 is the better drivers car. S3 is fun as hell, but very small.

So since we’re looking at the same segments here, here’s my unsolicited 2c. I’ve tested so far the following, S3, S4, 335xi, ATS. I still have to get into a 340xi and Tom insists I test drive a S60 T6-R. The M3 and ATS-V are too high in price for the year I want.

The S4 is awesome, the 335xi is powerful, but like…

I’m in a similar position, I currently own a 17' WRX but I want to buy a 2+year old 340 or S4. 

Soooo, does this mean the new 2020 WRX will have the 2.4 with a larger intercooler andupgraded internals that makes 300+??! And then the STi can be the 2.4 with a electric motor supplement.

The good news is that John Walls -4.8 +/- can’t get any worse this season!
