I am not saying that this 'sink's the season' - I am arguing against the claim that the writing in the Netflix shows is somehow obviously superior to that in AoS. It isn't. AoS writers have to deal with the structure created by a 42 minute show with commercial breaks, something the Netflix writers don't, and I think

Karen wasn't working at a blog - she is very clearly working at an old fashioned newspaper, one of MCU NYC's main tabloids. Hell, she even inherits a big office. So yes, it is completely outrageous, and trying to make excuses for it doesn't excuse the fail.

Why would there? That movie's events barely affect any of the rest of the MCU. Aida using the evil spell book to essentially create a sling ring and its abilities is plenty crossover enough.

I think the similarity in the look is more to demonstrate interdimensional travel than to identify where they might have been getting dragged down to.

As opposed to in the Netflix shows….? Cause those shows have plenty of stinkers.

This show hasn't dragged things out for some time. I mean, in seven episodes and everyone knows about Aida and the Ghost Rider…hell, the secret Android (or Gynoid to be accurate…) already read the evil hell book. Also, I loved that the book was obviously in binary for her.

No shout outs to Dr. Strange? Personally, several of the effects looked strikingly similar to things we saw in that movie, and not coincidentally. Also, the effects for Aida weaving that portal were very nice.

Williams psycho turn (which to me comes straight out of left field) to me solidifies that William is the MiB - that and that Logan would be left with a scar on his face from Dolores' actions.

Yeah, except we aren't in a fantasy park every year which seems to costs massive amounts of money to go to. So, still a massive narrative cop-out.

That would be a massive narrative cop-out.

That would be shock for shock's sake only, because nothing has happened to William yet that would explain such a heel turn, to the point that in the future he would casually rape Dolores. And also MiB's speech still does not fit with William's experiences.

If there are alternative timelines, seems to me it makes more sense for Logan to be the MiB than it does William. William didn't kill that "poor kid" - in fact, his behavior has been relatively lame, while Logan's hasn't.

Why would you want a "real" skull for such a fantastical character? I am happy with the stylized head.

its only in your opinion that they are tricked, and that opinion seems to be based on the notion that if given a choice, no one would choose to disappear if they "knew" that what would endure is merely a 'copy'. I think this view is wrong - I believe that people would empathize strongly with a copy of their

"Being alone is better than being dead"

Ah, no, sorry, but that is absurd. How would any kid of the street be able to correctly deliver the info on the book? Hell, people have a hard time reading basic shit out loud - you think a kid will be able to translate step by step theoretical physics and complex engineering instructions, possibly ones in diagrams?

"real movies"? What are those, exactly?

Yes, the CEO of Roxxon was part of the group of evil CEO's that was working to elevate Whitney's husband to Senator.

Lucy's motivation to get Eli stemmed from two unfortunate facts she had to deal with:

There wasn't any - they did a promo for Dr. Strange instead.
