I think this time what we’re seeing instead is an arms race to ensure no one enforces exclusivity. Now Sony can use future Bungie games as a bargaining chip to keep MS honest, MS can do the same with COD and Activision properties.

Isn’t this pretty much the way it always is? After they cut the film, they decide something isn’t working and needs to be re-shot or needs another little bit to make it work. That’s what “pick ups” are.

I would say this kind of exemplifies a certain issue with this show as it not only assumes that everyone watching it is a Star Wars fan, which is fair enough, but that they all also have a deep understanding of the Star Wars galaxy and its various inhabitants. So it doesn’t need to waste time explaining literally…

Another fun part of Matt Berry being in this show is that Toast of Tinseltown, the Toast of London sequel series, just aired in the UK, and the reason Toast comes to the US is that he has a part in the new Star Wars movie (“Yeah, sure” - everyone he mentions this to throughout the season.)

Talk about overengineering. Just stick a mesh in front of the fans and be done with it. This is just introducing 18 extra points of failure that will no doubt need specialised tools/parts to repair.

I hope I’m wrong, but the more I know about this thing, the more I see a forgettable film with nods to the game series.
