Huh? The first Matrix is endless fighting and people running around. The fighting is what made it stand out.

Even at their worst, each of the wachowski sisters is damn talented and make memorable movies. Even if this sucks, it’ll still be worth seeing.

Became?

It had never occurred to me before, but I very much want to watch that.

Neil Patrick Harris AND Jonathan Groff?

That and all of those pesky big words he uses.

I liked the Architect’s speech in the context of a live-action anime.

Are we still using the phrase “cautiously optimistic”? Because I’m cautiously optimistic. This looks amazing, but I also got some Force Awakens - nostalgia rehash vibes from it.

I don’t understand why people hate The Architect’s speech so much. It’s one of the more intriguing bits from the sequels. I guess it’s because no one gets kicked or punched or short for a good 5 minutes.

No sign from their previous friends and enemies Morpheus and Agent Smith (Laurence Fishburne and Hugo Weaving),

I hope this movie leans suuuuper heavy into the lore set up in the sequels. Give me a whole movie based on the Architect’s speech from Reloaded.

Marriages not working out until death does not mean they were a waste of time. People change and they stop working out, this one may have ended due to addiction which is a shame, but everything they did together is not necessarily worthless. Not a great take dude.

I don’t see how spending 10 years in a relationship is a sacrifice? Sure it ended badly but it’s not time lost, you still grow in 10 years and they’re both still young.

Christ, you sound like a piece of work.

It’s pretty easy for you to judge and dismiss things from where you’re positioned in this parasocial relationship. While certainly not as damaging as an addiction to cocaine, parasocial relationships and sitting so far stop a high horse in judgment of complete strangers are unhealthy and, in their own way, addictive

I went to rehab for cocaine as well, I’m approaching a year and I’ve basically had to reduce a lot of things in my life that feel like I’m performing for people (work events, stepping down from roles in friends weddings, summer BBQ’s, dates). I can’t imagine being a literal a performer struggling with cocaine abuse.

It’s so weird and unpleasant how many teenagers on Twitter feel personally betrayed because this person going through a lot of personal strife divorced his wife.

I’m sure they made good money for it but and it honestly probably doesn’t take that much time overall but man, shouts out to NPH and Mateen for sitting through reading every minute of the clock (and/or the sound guys for having to make the clips of those guys reading the numbers 1-59 sound natural)

Weird to criticize how the media diminishes what Jolie wants to talk about by posting an article that diminishes what Jolie wants to talk about.

It’s explained right in the preceding sentence.
