Watching the trailer yesterday, I feel less like this is Pokemon: Breath of the Wild and more Monster Hunter: Pokemon. The camps, the quests to “hunt” the various pocket monsters, the mounts... It’s all very Monster Hunter to me. That’s actually a very valid direction for the series to take, so I hope it works out.

I was really surprised they didn’t give many (any?) comedians a shot. I mean just go down the Earwolf roster and you’ll find a dozen potentially great hosts with intelligence and humor.

I get a bit irritated whenever I see people talk about the episode as a “tribute” to Chadwick, like everyone knew he was going to die soon and this was supposed to be more than just one more appearance in the franchise.
