Absolutely sick.
Absolutely sick.
I couldn't even think of anything that would rattle. The car was pretty basic, but I never remembered it rattling. The motor mounts did go bad and it shook in gear. It was kind of like a massage chair, I got used to it until my girlfriend at the time wouldn't ride with me till I got it fixed.
SE Michigan here as well. When I sold my 02, there was some rust bubbling on the rocker panels. Seemed to be a 00-03 problem.
Congrats but I fear I have gotten to you too late. Ford offered an exclusive extended warranty for the 2003 that covered the valve cover gaskets, all 8 coils, and all 8 plugs. This is good for 10 years and 100k miles from purchase date. This would have saved you around $1000.
Which comment are you referring to? It really depends on the year. 00-02 are referred to as the genI, they are the most troublesome and costly. 03-06 are the GenII, they are vastly better than the genI in terms of reliability but are still expensive to own. They aren't as hard to sell as you might think, lots of…
Probably more structurally rigid on that arm than it was in real life.
I agree, his mood took the best of him and he made irrational decisions. Should his explanation be brought forth in an article written by people who call themselves journalists? Absolutely. I do NOT in anyway condone his actions, but should the full story be told, YES...
Did I say it did? How many times does one need to explain himself? Just read my other comments before you bash me for no reason whatsoever. Im not sure what side you think I'm on here haha.
Interesting, was not aware of that. I have the 2.5 with a 3 speed auto in my Cutlass Ciera, I guess the only thing going for it is reliability. This concept was a DOHC 3.0 liter I4.
I have an Iron Duke in my beater. It's not great noise either.
Did I ask for everyone to excuse him? No! He is completely at fault no question about it. What I would like is for fair articles showing the whole ordeal or at least explaining it completely....
What if we take away the BMW drivers interaction. So now we have 2 drivers blocking an intersection not allowing the BMW driver to have his right away. The BMW driver also is in the intersection. In the states he would have legal right away to clear the intersection to allow movement of traffic. He then proceeds to…
Terrible. Transmission suffers from servo bore problems as well as solenoid pack failures through both gens. Trans wont make it to 150k miles ($2500). First gens have timing chain issues, won't make it to 130k miles without replacement ($1000-2000). First gens have a hydraulic cooling fan that will need replacement…
Article I wrote if interested
If guy #1 posts one sided video/article of driver and makes everyone hate said driver, guy #2 then posts a broader explanation attempting to show both sides of the story.
I'm not arguing the fact that what he did was or wasn't wrong. I'm simply stating a video has been posted blatantly making the BMW driver look bad. Sure he does most of that himself, but it fails to show that those two cars were blocking the intersection not letting the BMW driver have the right away. It then shows…
Pretty sure it's law here in the states to not block intersections. I'm sure Germany is the same. They could of moved to give him room to proceed and none of this would have ever happened.
