Am I crazy or is "ottawanna go to bed" a legitimately good song?

Shows need to be profitable to stay on the air. None of you idiots watch TV live with commercials so networks have to find creative ways to make money. Anyone who complains about product placement has no one to blame but themselves. It was like 30 seconds and they made it pretty funny, it's no big deal.

Katee Sackhoff's arc was the worst part of that season by far. She killed Stephen Root and stuffed him in the panels of an interrogation room.

Who cares if Homeland is turning into 24? 24 is spectacular, but its problem was always that it fell into way too many action movie tropes, and outside of Kiefer Sutherland and a few others, it was never very well acted or for that matter written. If Homeland can be a smarter, better written, better acted, tenser 24,

It helps that the games put the characters' fates in your hand as the player too. But obviously they're going to be better at letting their characters breathe, every episode is at least 3 times as long as an episode of the show.

Asking the IGN community what they think of good, nuanced television is like asking the state of Alabama what they think of a black man in the White House.

I think they use SuspensionInDisbeliefGate brand toothpaste.

SNL can be uneven and still funny. I never expect every sketch to be great. Like tonight gave us 2-3 fantastic sketches, but started weak and almost completely fell off the tracks by the end. I'd still give it a B+/A- because stuff like The Dudleys, Match'd and A New Day made me laugh a lot. It's always been like

Really? no one's going to say this? SIGH I guess I'll do it..

He hasn't seen True Detective yet. It's just sitting on Schmidt's DVR!

The Louie discussions are that way ——->

I mean, I understand that you shouldn't have to be a fan of the comics to review the show, but if you can't pick up on the Sionis/Black Mask references or even just mention them in your notes then you're doing something wrong.

Can I say something controversial? If the alternative is that Homeland is an entertaining but sort of flaccid terrorist procedural/Zero Dark Thirty carbon copy, I would have actually preferred it go off the deep end and bring Brody back. Merely the backlash that would have gotten on these boards alone would have been

Best run on TV is obviously Barry Goldberg.

You probably shouldn't base your viewing decisions on one sole review. The season's been inconsistent but it's still often funny. This episode was definitely better than Pilot let's on.

"My mom used to say when a bird dies it gets another set of wings in heaven." "That bird is going straight to hell."

That was a lot shitting all over the show for a B-.

I think it's been long established that these people are well beyond any semblance of sensible human beings. Taco is literally a millionaire this season.

I'm too lazy to look through the comment history. Where's the guy who was arguing with me about whether Mysteries of Laura would get cancelled and that overall viewers were irrelevant? Because it got picked up for a full season yesterday.

This was a great episode. It served as a reminder that Elias is back and that he's willing to go to great lengths to defend "his" city. While the team has been distracted by the brotherhood and even enlisted Elias' help, they've ignored an even more dangerous potential enemy. Elias is back and in a big way. The
