I knew I was going to be pretty busy during much of the fest so I loaded up on the first weekend with like 7 movies. The highlight so far for me has been A Ghost Story (Casey Affleck dies and becomes a ghost with a bed sheet over his head), The Little Hours (cussing nun movie), and Brigsby Bear (hard to explain this

Actually Irish Embassy is the official pub of Fantasia! Lamb burger + a pint of Harp has become my yearly tradition on my first day of covering the fest.

The machine is mobile, they move from location to location to avoid being caught. It just so happened that it was in Australia when Nora went through it, they were about to leave.

Nora's had literal decades to think about what she would tell her friends and family if they ever found her.

No one seems to have mentioned it but this episode explains the cold open with the woman on the rooftops from the first episode. Kevin Sr. is that woman, continuously going back on the rooftop because he believes the end of the world is coming. It never comes, and he's afraid to come down, but his son is there to

"Just go inside! I will dig up all your fucking kim-chi!"

"Sleep, motherfucker!"

He's waiting to see if anyone claims it. Then the cat becomes a clue. It's a literal Schrodinger's Cat.

"This isn’t a franchise that’s well known for character development"

I think the order the episodes aired in was pretty important. Sure they're interchangeable, but airing International Assassin first means that they don't milk the "is Kevin dead" thing any longer than they needed to. Also I'm not sure if what happens to him is on the night of the 13th-14th.

I wound up enjoying it, but gotta admit, if you're looking for peak insufferable pseudo metaphysical spiritual bullshit, Dan Harmon and Pete Holmes in the same room is the way to go. At least Harmon has a little humility about it

All three are really important to the podcast's history. iBrain is easily a top 5 CBB episode ever and Bill Cosby Bukowski was an amazing character. It's weird how they've all ended up in this state of not being on the show often anymore yet suddenly all back at the same time

This is when you catch up on the ridiculous amount of Sunday shows. Or watch 3 hours of wrestling if you're a masochist.

Anyone listen to any video game podcasts? I've been having a lot of fun with Giant Bombcast and the Kinda Funny guys lately. Podquisition is pretty good too. Game Scoop from IGN is pretty good for Jews and the 20 questions game can Ben fun.

Heynong man, are U Talkin' U2 To Me right now?

Heynong man.

I wonder if they're going to Hold the (political) Line.

Shhhhh, I want to hear more of what 80's pop rock band Toto has to say about the American electoral system.

Jimmy and Matt spending twenty minutes describing the Nashville concert… Yikes. I gotta say, I don't think I'll ever get those 20 minutes back.

Easily the line of the night.
