I brought up Harry's law specifically because NBC cancelled it. They faced significant backlash as a result of cancelling it and probably lost some viewers. Meanwhile Community still wound up cancelled. Not like that's really a fare comparison, since one was a one-hour drama and the other a half-hour sitcom.

They do matter when it's one of the most viewed shows of the night. And when few other shows could take that spot and pull in 10 million viewers or even a 1.5 for that matter. Last season NBC had revolution there and it was pulling in a similar demo rating with a fraction of the viewers. NBC isn't stupid, they won't

Laura had over 10 million viewers this week (enough to win its timeslot in that category) with no lead in. As a result SVU also pulled in more than 10 million viewers, and that's considerably more than it did for any episode last season. So unless NBC wants to have another Harry's Law situation on their hand Laura

I have a site where we do TV reviews! I can't pay you though :(

Did you miss the part where the sound of music had gigantic ratings or are you purposely ignoring that so you could sound cool on the Internet?

The real Dr. Masters gets to make out with an even Jewier lady than Lizzy Caplan, so I think he's ok with it.

I have a feeling that whatever way Absorbing Man is "gifted" is the sam way Scarlett Witch and Quicksilver will be gifted in avengers. Which makes me think that's the tie in for the movie.

Did Finch get his own Batcave at the end of that episode? If so I would love it if the show is now actively addressing all the comparisons people make between the show and Batman.

I'm pretty sure Harvey's excuse was stupid on purpose. He wants Gordon to stop investigating the murder because he's basically in on it but also because Gordon's starting to grow on him and doesn't want to see him hurt so he comes up with the easiest possible reasoning, but because he's corrupt and because he's not

Am I really the only one who noticed the Observer in one of the Purgatory scenes? Holy Fringe reference!

The only editing complaint I have is that they didn't take advantage of Elizabeth putting her balls on Courtney last week

Because everyone on this show is an asshole. Have you not been paying attention for six seasons?

If the strain (or anything else del toro does for that matter) isn't purposely campy then he has to be the least self-aware filmmaker currently working. I mean, there's no way he let some of those lines in Pacific Rim through without knowing what he was doing. Same here, although maybe to a lesser extent.

You have to catch up with helix dude. It actually winds up being campier and more ridiculous than this.

Sirico was already in the season 2 finale. But nice reporting otherwise.

Thanks, I already had breakfast.

Good point, I didn't even consider that the roaming dogs could be hers. I thought Gladys was a catalyst to a lot of things that happened in the latter half of the season though (I mean, she had an episode named after her), so it just felt like the show was acknowledging that she was important without really knowing

"I would, at some point, like to read discussion about The Leftovers in these sections."

He literally fucked her into oblivion.
