I loved the movie’s acting, cinematography, and structure. But I also felt like the script was a bit weak, lapsing into many gay, coming-of-age, and broken-family cliches without really breaking out of those cliches.

The first season of Elementary is far better than any season of Sherlock and has a spectacular Moriarty arc, so it’s definitely worth watching. Further seasons are not as strong but are still enjoyable.

Science has actually proven the “fueling metabolism” advice to have no merit at all. Many people skip breakfast and compress their eating times with intermittent fasting, and studies with rats has proven that longer fasting periods (ie skipping breakfast) has much better results.
