I feel like Taylor Swift is the Julia Roberts of the music industry

I straight up do not trust people who work that hard at cultivating an image. Creeps me the eff out. I would much rather have someone who is a bit of a mess but is being their honest self.

The Today Show literally added a cute puppy to the cast to try to distract people from the totally unlikable Matt Lauer. The Ann Curry thing is still haunting them, I think. I switched to GMA after that, but GMA lost its sparkle with the departures of Sam Champion and Josh Elliott. I wasn’t a particular fan of either…

Taking the time to think, plan, and adapt when there’s a madman ranting about running for president is pretty damn self-absorbed. Most people were just sitting there open-mouthed because they were paying attention.

I used to root for her pretty hard but this forced “I’m everyone’s bff” thing is driving me nuts. She’s 26, time to grow up. Not everyone has to like her and she doesn’t have to like everyone. It's so obviously fake and tired at this point.

He and Savannah are among the most loathed “news talent” currently working. They are awful to everyone around them, give zero fucks about anyone else working on the show and are, by all accounts, the most Epic of Smug Assholes Working today. Which, as you can imagine, says a LOT.

That’s not the point. The point is that most people are not so amazingly self-absorbed that they can stand next to Kanye West when he makes a speech that fabulously insane and can only think about how it will make them look.

She’s still leveraging that “I was the loser in high school, now I’m the prom queen” shtick. It will die out when we realize she was the bully all along a la Liz Lemon.

Her stupid anecdote about College Dropout being the first album she ever bought when she was 12 years old (even though she turned 12 in 2001 and College Dropout came out in 2004) as she was introducing Kanye had me rolling my eyes. She always has to make everything about her.

Gotta love how Kanye West makes a spectacle of himself and all Taylor Swift thinks is, “how does this make me look?”

I agree, but, ehhh if she doesn’t make everything about her then how will her empire flourish? Seriously. Perpetuating this feud is probably in her best interest. She could use a little bit of an edge because she comes off as insanely milquetoast to many.

If Kanye’s job now is to just troll the shit out of Taylor Swift at every available opportunity then I am completely on-board.

But how can it NOT be about Taylor?!

Matt Lauer is a smug, self-satisfied prick of epic proportions. He and Savannah deserve each other.
